Built weather-tough to meet challenging climates in any region, our windows are energy-efficient,1 beautiful, durable and virtually maintenance-free. Increased structural integrity and strength, along with superior PG/DP ratings and weathertight insulating components, combine for superior performance.
Gentek windows are tested to the rigorous requirements of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) test standards and criteria, as well as certifications from the Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC) and the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC). Using independent testing and certification agencies as well as our own state-of-the-art laboratories, Gentek windows are tested and proven to meet rigorous performance standards.
 
Energy efficiency is further increased with insulated glass packages featuring Low-E (low- emissivity) glass and a warm-edge spacer system. The spacer’s one-piece U-channel design provides a powerful thermal barrier that reduces conducted heat loss through the glass unit.

Optional insulating argon gas2 also increases energy savings year-round – an added value for today’s builders and buyers

1700 Series Single-Hung with Nailing Fin

Drywall Return

Our 1/2″ and 5/8″ drywall return channels provide a convenient alternative to wood trim and caulking during field installations, while also creating a smooth, attractive finished look. Both are available in 21′ length and trim easily to any size.

J-Channel Quick Fix Repair Kit

This repair kit offers a quick and easy solution when needed to replace damaged material from stray hammer swings. Snap-on pieces are available in 21′ length and trim easily to any size.

Metal-Reinforced Mulling System

Increased structural integrity across optional mulled window units is assured with a metal channel securing one window unit frame to another. The metal band provides increased protection and rigidity for shipping and additional strength at the mull intersections for easier installation. This system is further enhanced with a drip cap at the top of the system that directs water away from the mullion.
